FREE · NO OBLIGATION

Find the revenue your store is leaving behind

A senior Shopify engineer walks your storefront, theme performance and checkout on real devices, then sends a prioritised list of fixes within three business days. No pitch deck.

IN SHORT

  • A senior Shopify engineer reviews your storefront, theme performance and checkout on real devices — not a tool report with a score on it.
  • You get a prioritised list of fixes within three business days, written so any developer can act on it.
  • It is free and there is no obligation: plenty of the fixes are ones you can do yourself, and we say so.
  • If the honest answer is that your store is in good shape, that is what the audit says.
  • The only thing we need to start is your store URL.

Request your audit

The store URL and an email address are all we need. Everything below them makes the audit sharper and none of it is required.

PHONE (OPTIONAL)

How it runs

Four stages, and the only one that needs anything from you is the first.

  1. 01

    You send the URL

That is the only required field beyond an email address to reply to. Everything else on the form makes the audit sharper, and none of it is needed to begin.

  2. 02

    An engineer walks the store

On a real phone and a real desktop, as a customer would: category pages, a product page, cart, and as far into checkout as we can go without placing an order.

  3. 03

    We measure rather than guess

Field Core Web Vitals where they exist, the third-party script load, image weight and the render path. Numbers you can check yourself, with how we got them.

  4. 04

    You get a prioritised list

Ordered by expected impact against effort, each item written so a developer can pick it up. Within three business days.

What gets looked at

  • Core Web Vitals from field data where it exists, and lab measurement where it does not
  • The third-party script load — what each app costs you in bytes and blocking time
  • Image weight, formats and whether the hero is what is delaying your LCP
  • Product and collection page structure, and the internal linking between them
  • Cart and checkout, as far as we can go without placing an order
  • Structured data, metadata and what an AI answer engine can extract from the page
  • Mobile behaviour on a real mid-range device, not a desktop window made narrow

What it is not: a Lighthouse screenshot with a number on it. A score tells you something is wrong without telling you what to do, and you can generate one yourself in thirty seconds.

Findings that need admin access to confirm are flagged as questions rather than presented as conclusions.

Audit questions

Is it actually free?

Yes, and there is no call you have to sit through to get it. We send the document. If you want to talk about it we are glad to, and if you take the list to your own developer that is a perfectly good outcome — several people have.

What do you need from me?

A store URL and an email address. A phone number and some context about the platform and what is bothering you make the audit sharper, which is why the form asks, but they are optional and it goes ahead without them.

Do you need access to my Shopify admin?

No. The audit is done from the public storefront, which is the same thing your customers and Google see. If a finding needs admin access to confirm, we say so and leave it as a question rather than a conclusion.

How long does it take?

Three business days. If we are going to be slower than that — it happens in the week before Black Friday — we tell you when it will arrive rather than letting it drift.

What if my store is fine?

Then the audit says so. An audit that manufactures problems to justify a proposal is worth nothing to you and, in the end, nothing to us either. Several audits have come back as "this is in good shape, here are three small things".

Will this turn into a sales pitch?

There is no deck. The document is a list of findings. If something on it is work we could do, it says so plainly alongside everything you could do without us.

Would rather just talk?
